I received your question that you want to get pregnant "hopefully". I hope that since you are 15 that you will wait until you can fully care for yourself, that is your own welfare (food, shelter, etc.). Having a baby is a big responsibility. Please consider finishing high school first. See your provider for a birth control discussion, READ MORE

  • What exercises help you dilate?

Dilation of the cervix in pregnancy is basically a function of uterine contractions. If this is your first baby and you are at term, viz. 37-41 weeks, don't expect to dilate until you start contracting regularly. Aerobic exercises such as walking, riding a bike, motion or stationary, or swimming may help. If none of this helps, it is because it just is not your time yet. READ MORE

  • Can I be pregnant and still have a heavy period with clots?

Bleeding in pregnancy generally is thought to be abnormal. It is by definition called a threatened abortion (miscarriage). Some women may have bleeding in the first trimester (up to 12 weeks), Heavy bleeding with clots would be of greater concern. You should consult your obstetrician. A pelvic ultrasound and a series of serum pregnancy tests will probably be done. READ MORE
